A professional position at Xcel Energy could be just whatyou're looking for.Position SummaryThe Sr. Solution Analyst is responsible for working directly with customers toidentify, prioritize, deliver and operate innovative IT solutions withregard to SharePoint and other Microsoft365 products. They will analyze anddefine IT solutions or process changes to meet customer needs and minimizecost. They are involved and lead aspects of application lifecyclemanagement, including roadmap planning, delivery, and support toreleases. They own creation and maintenance of necessary application relateddocumentation and communication. In partnership with the business, theydrive to ensure the IT solution meets continuously changing business needs.They will research and identify industry practices, products and processesthat are trending and/or that best meet customer needs.Essential ResponsibilitiesSolution Delivery: Contribute to and lead analysis aspects of roadmapdelivery. Support and lead requirements management, QA and deploymentactivities. Identify and drive resolution to capability gaps or operationalrisks. Partner cross-organizationally and with vendor partners to analyzecost/benefit of various options. Ensure solution delivery practices arestructured, sound, and compliant.Relationship Management: Work in strong partnership with team, partnersand stakeholders across the organization. Establish a deep acumen and workwith customers to propose, prioritize and deploy continuous improvement.Cultivate and sustain a deep acumen of business functions, processes andneeds. Liaise with business partners on IT industry capabilities. Workcollaboratively across organizations and stakeholder groups to ensuresolutions are compliant and secure.Operations: Participate in system health assessments through analysis ofapplication operation, identification of operational risks, andrecommendation on lifecycle planning events such as upgrades anddecommissions. Support validation and measurement of business value fordeployed solutions. Foresee changing business needs, and assess needs forsolution changes.Subject Matter Expertise: Sustain deep acumen in analytical methods andtools, industry trends and organizational goals to ensure optimal technologysolutions are sought.Duties to include: Technical and application training, user adoption maturity, enduser change management, empower users, and engagement planning Experience with end user training and writing job aids Troubleshoot end user issues Lead and collaborate with other business units for monthly Tech Tuesdayuser group Application permissions and access management SharePoint migration education, planning, analysis and implementation Keep abreast of new SharePoint features/functionality and Microsoftinitiatives (Project Cortex)Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Technology, Science, Business or related field,or 4 years of experience equivalent to the position.Five years of related functional experience.Experience with Project or Product delivery practices, including SDLC,Agile, and Waterfall.Demonstrated ability to recommend innovative solutions to meet business needs.Ability to drive continuous improvement through lean and agile practices.Demonstrated in depth knowledge of end-to-end process and systemcapabilities, as well as industry standards and emerging technologies andmethods.Ability to understand technical, functional, and operational details ofrespective solutions.Strong problem solving, analytical and detail orientation.Demonstrated ability to build functional and technical subject matterexpertise, process and tools expertise, and drive consistency in processes.In-depth knowledge or the ab
