(Regional clients, minimal overnight travel) Key Responsibilities: * Lead Engineer for customer projects including design,implementation, testing, and support for new deployments, expansions,environment refresh and upgrades. This includes troubleshooting for allcustomer environments. * Creates technical deliverables including network assessments,capacity planning, detailed design documents, implementation plans,configurations, and change orders. * Lead technical discussions to understand business requirements andtranslate them into functional specifications. * Configures network devices such as switches, routers, firewallsand other security devices/appliances from multiple vendors. * Designs and deploys management and security control software such asCisco ISE and Prime. * Provides peer reviews of implementations, configurations, anddocumentation for team members. * Assists and mentors other team members with deployment or bestpractices. * Engages in continuous learning to stay abreast on new and emergingtechnologies. * Obtain vendor-related certifications, to enhance professionaldevelopment and our corporate standing with our vendors. * Develop and Maintain relationships with peers at vendor partners Required Skills * A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree in Electrical Engineering,Computer Science, or equivalent combination of certifications and experienceis required * Extensive knowledge and experience of Core Routing and Switchingdesign, configuration, and troubleshooting, and usage of CiscoRecommended Practices a must. * Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and consultative skills. * Strong communication skills * Attention to detail. * Strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriatejudgment, and decision making skills. * Ability to perform tasks with minor supervision. * Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and consultative skills. * Solid documentation experience with Visio, Word, Excel * Ambitious and goal oriented, with initiative to work until job iscomplete. The candidate must know a majority of these Network Design andConfiguration elements: * Spanning-tree, VTP, Port Channels, Load balancing, SPAN * Routing protocols OSPF, EIGRP, BGP * MPLS traffic engineering design, configuration, and troubleshooting * MPBGP-VPNv4, Multi-VRF and VRF-Lite * Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, ASR Extensive knowledge and experience of Security, including the design,configuration, and tuning of * NAT, ACL configuration * IPSec and SSL VPN, DMVPN, * Cisco ACS for network authentication, Authorization, and Accounting * Cisco NAC integration with data and wireless infrastructure * Cisco ASA, SourceFire * Cisco Identity Services Engine * Palo Alto * Other areas of knowledge and experience are as important. The candidate should have experience in one or more of the followingareas: * Strong background in Wireless communication design, configuration * Configuring Lightweight and Autonomous APs, WLAN Controllers * Mobile Device Management * Cisco Aironet, WCS, Meraki * MobileIron * Load Balancing * F5 LTM, GSM, APM, etc. * Citrix Netscaler Required Experience * Minimum 5 to 7 years
