Your Challenge: The Strategy & Planning Principal provides strategic thought partnership and support to the Managing Director, and is responsible for translating management’s vision, processes, and requirements into deliverable action. Drives decisions, even when the situation is fluid and ambiguous. This role will support the Managing Director build a strong and sustainable organization, set the right strategy and process, and drive the most critical execution efforts. Helps create alignment between different activities, projects, and initiatives and ensure that initiatives are not disparate or ad-hoc across the organization. This role requires a serving-leader mindset, strong collaboration skills and team-first orientation given the evolving nature, complexity and fast growth of our business.

The things that you will tackle:

  • Explore Commercial partnership opportunities, creating potential models and new opportunities for our digital business.

  • Outline investment business cases

  • Have a leading role within a high-performing, cross-functional team to develop the business model and products with a lean start-up approach

  • Partner with Management to spearhead change management field initiatives towards strategic goals

  • Define and report success criteria (e.g. key performance, measurement, and reporting frameworks)

  • Create alignment by coordinating and facilitating leadership team meetings by supporting agenda planning, overseeing and ensuring project management support

  • Works closely with the Managing Director and Management Team to identify and tackle key initiatives that will drive the strategic agenda forwards

  • Design and conduct robust quantitative analyses to inform key business decisions

  • Leverage analyses to prepare and deliver presentations and plans to the Management Team and broader leadership

  • 5+ years’ experience in an agile startup environment

  • Management consulting background with a customer service mindset

  • Strong conceptual, analytical, technical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong ability to build key relationships and influence across the business to assist in delivering consistent business results

  • Analytic orientation, capable of designing and executing complex analyses to support key business decisions

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and strong written communication skills

  • Fierce results-orientation, with a proven ability to translate business decisions into tangible outcomes

  • Sound problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly process complex information and present it clearly

  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure; consistent management of changing situations

  • Comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritizing within a fast-paced, demanding environment
