This is a fulltime position supporting TGS and our government customer in the Denver, COareaWe offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits packageincluding health, dental and vision insurance, 401K with companymatching, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, three weeks paidtime off, and more.The Administrator will be responsible for:Conducting daily systems administration task such as loading operatingsystems, updating firmware and BIOS, installing latest patches andanti-virus, pro-actively monitoring of servers and storage, tapeback-ups/failover, routine maintenance, change management and regulardocumented reporting of system maintenance.Manage, support, and maintain application authorization and authenticationfor active directory objects, planning applications, files, folders,and applicable shared servicesManage, support, and maintain COTS software, ensuring releases qualityand ecosystems compatibility with co-located softwareAutomation of systems tasks, scripts, and critical services across all serversMaintain and update application servers to provide various software updatesand application enhancementsAutomate standard systems administration tasks, scripts, and monitoringactivities to fullest extent possible.Conducting support for desktop, laptops, computer peripherals, printersand multi-functional devices.Providing technical assistance, consultation, and briefingsSetup and administration of complex multi-tier computing system environmentsDevelopment and maintenance of technical documentation and network diagramsPerforming daily checks and maintain up-time for all active test environmentsParticipating and contributing to a team approach to systems administrationand problem solvingAnalyzing configuration issues and developing solutions to individual end-userproblemsMaintaining passwords, data integrity and file system security for thedesktop/laptop environmentCommunicating technical information to both technical and non-technicalpersonnelAssisting with the recommendation of hardware and software solutionsPosition RequirementsEducation, Knowledge, Skills::Bachelor's DegreeMin: 5 years of Information Technology experience with three or more yearsof specialized experience in hands-on system administration and softwareapplication development experience in a production environmentExceptional customer service and interpersonal skillsDesired certifications: A+, Net+, Sec+, MCP, and/or ITIL v3/2011 FoundationsKnowledge of and experience with Service Desk related applicationsAbility to resolve difficult or challenging problems within the assistance ofsenior support or the use of outside software analysis supportProactive approach to problem solvingProficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Visio and Project
