He/she takes ownership of issues and quickly resolves them. Thisposition will require strong knowledge of desktop, mobile device, andserver hardware and software, Internet and networking technologies, abroad exposure to virtualization technologies and other advanced technologies(e.g., SANs), and full knowledge of all services that Lewan offers toits clients. The Systems Administrator will also need to be able to learn newapplication software in order to assist clients as needed. They willdemonstrate the best in terms of troubleshooting and documenting issues.Responsibilities:Have a client centric and positive attitude towards client issuesRespond to clients in a timely mannerAct as the second level support for client issues via phone calls, email,or live chatLearn quickly on the job using all resources available, including but notlimited to online resources and coworkersTrack time in Lewan's ticketing and time tracking system(s)Document issue resolution steps and final resolutions in Lewan's ticketingsystemWork closely with internal teams on client impacting issues and escalate whenappropriateWork with other staff members to effectively and efficiently to solve clientissuesWork with other departments as neededDevelop professional relationships with our partners and understand theirescalation proceduresMaintain knowledge of all proprietary tools and systems to ensure properhandling of client issuesComplete software upgradesPerform monitoring and basic server administration and restarting of servicesDocument work to submit for new KB articlesWork on internal projects and development as neededMust deliver an exceptional client experience every dayAssist in other tasks as assignedQualifications / Required Skills:High School Diploma or equivalent2 + years of experience in a related fieldIntermediate knowledge of Internet and networking technologiesExposure to scripting and command line interfaceExperience with Windows Operating systemsExperience with email programs such as MS Exchange and client programs such asOutlookKnowledge of virtual environments such as VMwareIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systemsIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office productsBeginner to intermediate firewall administration and troubleshootingExcellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills,and attention to detailStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsA strong troubleshooting methodologyExcellent client service focusAbility to work independently or as a team to approach problems creatively andresolve them in an effective and timely mannerEntrepreneurial attitude: self-motivated, self-directedFlexibility: task assignment, priorities, work environmentAbility to travel to customer sites using your personal vehicleAbility to maintain a clean driving record and proper motor vehicle insuranceOther Desired Skills:Experience with network monitoring solutionsMicrosoft certification with emphasis on server productsExposure to programming languages such as .NET, PHP, Cold Fusion, JavaA combination of certifications such as CCNA, A+, Net +, Security+, Meraki CCNA, or MCSA is preferredExperience with MSSQL, MySQLDesktop and server experience; MAC or Linux is a bonusExperience with Linux Operating systemsCompensation and Benefits:Competitive salary.Full benefit package including medical, de
