72747BR Technical Engagement LeaderProfessionalJob DescriptionThe Technical Engagement Leader (TEL) for Integration and Interoperabilityis the primary manager for the overall definition, delivery and planning ofintegration related work during Cerner's software implementationand/orservices effort with clients. The TEL will serve as a liaison betweenCerner and the client to ensure all targets and requirements are completed onschedule and within scope.The TEL is also responsible for leading and motivating the team and is viewedby clients as the primary contact for a wide variety of issues related totheir integration. The TEL is the expert judge of the clients' risk factorsfor successful implementation and management of their integration.In addition to project management work, the TEL will coordinate resources,scheduling, and other factors including but not limited to basic operationaland financial metrics involved with these projects. You will also need to beable to partner effectively with stakeholders, deliver under tightdeadlines, have strong communication skills and have the ability to managemultiple projects at one time.QualificationsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, IS, CS, Engineering or BusinessAdministration or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experienceAt least 3 years of project management, system administration or systemengineering work experiencePreferred QualificationsAt least 1+ years of experience working on Integration projects leveragingHL7, X12, and/or FHIRAt least 1+ years of experience and a solid understanding of databasetechnologiesAt least 3+ years of project management/implementation work experiencePMP CertificationProficient with task management utilitiesExpectationsAbility to travel up to 10%Currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City metropolitanarea, or reside near a major international airportAdditional InformationApplicants for U.S. based positions with Cerner Corporation must be legallyauthorized to work in the United States.
