General Air Service And Supply Tier 1 IT Service Desk Technician in Denver, Colorado

General Air Service and Supply is looking for a Tier 1 Service Desk Technicianwho wants to jump in head-first and support our internal and externalcustomers with IT. If you're passionate about technology, problemsolving, working with end-users, and if you live to work hard and havefun, we want to talk to you.Position Description:We're looking for a dynamic person who wants to ensure our end-users havetheir technology needs met, working to address and resolve their requestsand problems submitted by phone, trouble ticketing system, or in person.The ideal candidate should have a mix of technical and customer serviceskills, and be passionate about technology and helping people.Your Day-to-Day: Provide end user remote support and remediation with fast turnaround ofcustomer requests Work on Support tickets that come in via phone, email, or customer portal Enter all work as service tickets as it occurs Monitor and manage system alerts and notifications, and respondaccordingly through service tickets Support technical issues involving Microsoft's core businessapplications and operating systems Configure users in Microsoft Domain Environment Basic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity Escalate service requests that require Senior Technician level support System documentation maintenance and review Setting up, investigating, and diagnosing cell phone problems Problem solve and help end users with computer software and hardware Support and maintain in-house computer systems and peripherals installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgradingall hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance Keeping all software/hardware licensing and maintenance agreements up todate Assist in identifying, researching, recommending, developing,implementing, and supporting cost-effective technology solutions for allaspects of the organization Other duties as assignedWhat You Bring to the Team: Strong understanding and working knowledge of Windows operating system Understanding IPv4 networking concepts and related protocols such asDNS, DHCP, and NAT Knowledgeable about IP phones and Smart Devices Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills Self-Starter/Self Directed individual that leads with high energy andpassion for customer service Detail oriented team player that can also work independently with littlesupervision Ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantlychanging priorities A sense of urgencyWhy General Air:Our employees tell us that people choose General Air Service and Supply,many times until retirement, because of the way they are treated.
