DaVita Transformation Analyst,Senior in Denver, Colorado

We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst, Transformation to join our high-energy, creative and motivated Transformation Team, also known as “Catalyst.” Catalyst teammates serve as healthcare strategy and operations consultants, with an emphasis in population health. Catalyst is dedicated to high-impact projects inside DaVita Medical Group.

Most Catalyst projects focus on helping our medical groups transform from a fee-for-service to value-based care model. Some of our current or past projects include:

  • Transition of care programs

  • Readmission reduction programs

  • House calls and other post-hospitalization solutions

  • ED diversion programs

  • Skilled Nursing Facility programs

  • Medicare Advantage clinical coding

  • Behavioral health programs

  • Performance benchmarking

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work with subject matter experts and operators to build cost-benefit analyses for population health initiatives that have real and immediate impact

  • Interact with senior management by providing thoughtful analysis on key decision points to drive initiatives forward

  • Develop deliverables and project plans

  • Develop reporting and analytic tools for operators, management, and other support teams

  • Analyze large data sets to identify gaps in care and opportunities for clinical and cost improvement

  • Provide ad-hoc analyses and support as necessary

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (e.g. consulting, strategy, healthcare operations, health plans, business analysis, data analytics, data science, investment banking)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required

  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency

  • Proficiency with SQL or BI tools is a plus

  • Ability to travel at least 50% (travel averages to 50%; some projects require more/less)

LOCATION: Denver, CO; El Segundo, CA; or Washington DC Metro locations are preferred. Telecommuting may be considered for highly qualified candidates in other locations.
