We’reseeking an Agile Expert Leader based in Denver, Colorado office (globalheadquarters).
Responsible for driving the agile transition strategy and execution for the WU Way. The WU Way is “how” we will execute Western Union’s strategy and the culture change needed to deliver top line growth. The Agile COE Lead is responsible for the strategy and successful execution of Western Union’s transition to an agile product and development organization. The lead will work across the business and technology to gain support for the strategic roadmap, execution plan and funding. This role will advise and coach senior management on the principles and behavior changes required to support the agile transition. The goals of the agile center of excellence are to improve speed to market of Western Union’s products, improve quality, and improve both customer and employee satisfaction.
The lead will continue to grow the agile center of excellence and coach 1,500 employees in the product and technology organization. Responsible for partnering with the business and technology to drive changes in governance and prioritization, organizational structure and technology tools and practices in line with agile values and principles.

Develop and implement the WU Way agile transition roadmap foragile@scale to support the “how” of the Western Union corporate strategy.
Develop the overall agile at scale execution plan and securesustained funding
Establish and maintain a backlog of improvement opportunitiesand work with leaders to inject the highest value opportunities in the agile transitions.Partner with management to create the team structure, decision making model andeliminate waste in the product delivery process in line with agile principlesto improve speed to market.
Define and operationalize measures of progress and metrics todrive prioritization, investment and benefit realization. Responsible forhelping mid/senior level management teams to appropriately track & analyzeoperational KPIs to ensure value capture.
Partners closely the business and technology during the agiletransitions to effectively mitigate risks, resolve issues, addressing resourcegaps, and remain aligned to the strategy objectives of the organization
Communicate, train and influence senior leaders to embraceagile principles, methods and leadership behaviors to gain and sustaincommitment to cultural change Create the structure and standards for scalingincluding training, the LeSS scaling framework tools and standards.
Embed agile practices in the organization by establishing newprocesses in strategic planning, annual planning, portfolio management,governance processes and controls. • Expand and scale the agile center of excellence,partnering with technology and the business to determine the roles and skillsto be centralized or distributed and matrixed.
Partners with the HR organization to create andorganizational structure, development structure and recruiting practices toenable agile values and principles
Develop and implement a program to ensure sustainability& success of agile deployments after the deployment ends. Responsible forselecting agile coaches, engaging with them, developing and deliver content toincrease their understanding of the WU Way and create connection from verydistant offices to the WU Way and to one another.

Demonstrated experience leading implementation of agile@scale
Global experience to include India
Proven ability to lead a large global organization workingwith multiple teams across the company.
Demonstrated experience leading organizational wide transformationalchange
Strong written and verbal communication skills forcommunications ranging from all employees, senior executives and the board ofdirectors
Proven ability to present effectively and concisely to theC-level of the organization
Change mindset. This person must be open to change and canget other people motivated to work in new and better ways.
History of influence and operate in a multi-cultural,geographically diverse global company
Skill in providingcoaching and consultative support to C-level and senior leaders in theorganization
Strong organizational effectiveness skills (group dynamicsand cross-matrix expertise)
Ability to develop training and communication programs thateffectively drive change and understanding, particularly withinManager/Director/Vice President levels of the organization
