Kforce Web Backend Developer in Denver, Colorado
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Web Backend Developer in Denver, CO.Essential Duties:
Enable development and operations to build and deploy our applications from code to production and internal environments using our infrastructure
Collaborate with peers on work estimation/planning and implementation of new versions/features on the platform
Drive improvements to our build and release scripts, tools, and processes
Help define best practices for source control, continuous integration, automated testing and release management
Build tools for internal use to support software engineering best practices
Bring new automation technologies to improve the velocity and quality of our engineering efforts
Help define common infrastructure, automate and streamline our dev ops processes to help streamline our workflow and increase developer velocity
Provide security and environment best practices and responds to client inquiry regarding our policies and procedures including RPF responses
1 years of experience in DevOps engineering
1 years of experience working with the AWS platform
Knowledge of OOP programming using PHP 7
Experience working with modern PHP frameworks, specifically Laravel or Lumen
Experience with REST API development
Experience in operating and supporting scalable microservice/distributed architectures
Understanding of security best practices
CI/CD experience preferably with declarative pipelines using tools like CircleCI, GitLab, TravisCI or Jenkins
You are a GitHub guru and understand collaborative workflows
Strong background with Linux & Docker
Experience with automation/configuration management
Strong experience with MySQL
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
