Catholic Health Initiatives APPLICATION DEVELOPER III in ENGLEWOOD, Colorado




  • Performs application coding and building customized structures in groupware environment.

  • Develops and Unit Tests custom Lawson 4GL programs, including interfaces, conversions, forms, and reports.

  • Develops and Unit Tests custom Workday Integrations.

  • Works independently with users to help them understand application functionality, enhancements and processes.

  • Tests applications in QA environments before deployment in production.

  • Creates and maintains documentation for applications and enhancements.

  • Supports standardization of documentation and processes within ITS.

  • Provides Level 2 & 3 support, working collaboratively with ERP technical admins and support staff as well as directly with the vendor’s support site.

  • Manages all but the most complex change management requests.

  • Collaborates in team environments and independently with vendors, business partners and IT teams on projects, support, application development and standardization.

  • Serves as a technical resource for application users and business partners for requirement and specification creation.

  • Additional tasks/responsibilities as defined.

  • May require some on-call coverage responsibilities.


Skills, Requirements, & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical degree or may substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5 years of total IT/application experience preferred.

  • Two years COBOL programming experience (MicroFocus COBOL preferred) and/or 2 years Workday Integration development experience required

  • Two years experience supporting an ERP Application, Lawson ERP or Workday preferred.

  • Proficient working with database structures, experience with SQL preferred.

  • Experience with development and use of Lawson Portal, Infor Process Automation, Infor Design Studio is a plus.

  • Java language/JaveScript experience is a plus.

  • Experience working directly with users.

  • Experience in programming concepts, application development, and software development life cycle processes and methodologies.

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes desirable.

  • Healthcare experience desirable.
