This involvesprioritizing categories to explore, evaluating the landscape of companies inthose categories, prioritizing potential targets, valuing and structuringdeals, conducting due diligence and supporting integration (with a similarset of activities for any divestitures the company decides to pursue).The role will require strong project management, business analytics,strategic thinking, problem solving, executive communications andconsensus building. There will be significant hands-on work requiring detailedmarket / industry / category / company analysis, valuation andmodeling, information synthesis, and preparation / presentation ofreport materEssential Job FunctionsThe majority of time will be spent supporting acquisitions and divestitures aswell as some involvement with potential partnerships. Depending on work loadthere may be times when the role helps the Corporate Strategists with theiranalysis and deliverables.Primary Responsibilities include:* Develop and maintain complex financial models which support managementdecisions to act upon corporate initiatives and acquisition targets* Perform forecasting, valuation and scenario analysis* Perform due diligence and post-closing acquisition reviews* Prepare forecasts for corporate initiatives and acquisitions* Perform research, cost studies and benchmarking to support financial andoperational assumptions* Assist members of the finance team and other functional teams in developingprocesses and policies for new business initiatives* Prepare materials for presentations for senior management and otherstakeholders as needed* Work cross-functionally with other business unitsEducation* Bachelor Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience* MBA or other business qualification preferredExperience* 2-4 years experience working in M&A, corporate development or businessdevelopment, either as part of a corporate team or a strategy consultancy* Experience working across different geographies and cultures* Experience working on strategy in a B2B software environment preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities* Ability to engage with middle/senior management to understand needs,communicate findings* Sharp mind with strong analytical and numeric skills, proficient infinancial modeling and analysis* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintaincollaborative work relationships within the company as well as with externalbusiness partners* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability toprioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.Adept in standardoffice software tools, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint* Strong presentation and report-writing skills* Solid understanding of corporate finance* Ability to think globally in relation to the Company s strategic plan* Working knowledge of international telecom/media market (BSS/OSSsector, in particular) preferred* Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in abusiness environment
