The Local Retailer Marketing Specialist II provides ongoing marketing support for the Local Retailer channel within the Indirect Marketing team. This includes collaborating with internal and external partners and vendors, implementing marketing projects, and creating reporting to analyze and improve the Local Retailer business, all to drive activation goals and meet Local Retailer needs.
Support Local Retailer Sales team and external partners (Retailers, Distributors, Vendors) with timely marketing support, learning the retailer business and understanding the nuances of local marketing strategy
Serve as Marketing support for Premier Retailers, supporting creative reviews and approvals
Drive creative development with internal DISH creative agency, to provide effective materials across various tactics in support of marketing campaigns and offers for Local Retailers
Create reports and analyze key marketing data (sales, trends, consumer insights, etc.) and present conclusions in a meaningful way to inform the creation, development and execution of marketing projects
Collaborate with various groups to identify opportunities and define marketing strategies to support Local Retailer initiatives within growth segments
Education, Skills & Experience:
This is a high-energy role for a well-rounded business professional that can hit the ground running and drive results immediately. This role is demanding given the dynamic market landscape and new marketing challenges, and will allow the right candidate the opportunity to make a big impact in a short time as they grow a critical channel for DISH. A successful Marketing Specialist II will have the following:
Ability to think strategically about both customer and market information at the local level
Ability to influence and collaborate across various functional groups including sales, marketing, and legal, as well as external partners and agencies.
Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team partnership and promote enthusiasm; build trust with external and cross-functional partners
Results oriented and have an understanding of metrics and data, as well as the ability to infer implications and make recommendations based on key information
Experience working with Adobe creative suite, Google Suite, etc is a plus
Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis, and a proven track record of communicating effectively
Compensation: $48,600.00/Yr. - $70,000.00/Yr.
