TTEC IVR / CVP / GVP Developer - Remote USA in Englewood, Colorado

We are looking for an enthusiastic IVR Systems Software Principal Programmer, located anywhere in the US, expertise in Genesys IVR, VoiceXML, Speech Recognition, grammar development, Java, JavaScript, and backend integration to join our growing Multi-Channel Solutions team. Minimal travel requirements in the future. As an IVR Developer, you will have hands-on exposure to a wide range of technologies and will be responsible for providing technical solutions to meet the various needs of our clients. You will enjoy involvement in the full lifecycle of an implementation project, while interacting closely with the client to meet specific needs throughout the process. You will work as part of a team of professionals that play a key role in implementing solutions and delivering results.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Interpret and analyze business requirements to identify risks and design appropriate solutions

  • Develop and assess the capabilities and limitations of the applications and technologies and recommend alternatives and solutions

  • Provide guidance for business decisions from a technical perspective on such issues as performance, scalability, reliability, and security

  • Collaborate with project team members to provide input to design specifications related to speech application

  • Develop IVR / Speech applications using Genesys GVP, VXML, and Java

  • Integrate to backend systems such as web services, databases, CTI, and reporting

  • Develop simple grammars for speech applications

  • Develop customized language models for voice applications

  • Understand differences between types of grammars (list, pattern, etc.), benefits and when each is appropriate to maximize accuracy for a given dialog

What skills and experience you will bring:

  • 4 to 6+ years of experience with Genesys IVR platform development experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Advanced Speech Recognition solution design and development, and Natural Language Processing

  • 3+ years of experience in grammar and Natural Language Understanding design, development, and testing

  • 1+ years of experience in speech tuning, continuous improvement, and grammar analysis

  • VXML, SSML, XML, JAVA, J2EE, JSP, .NET, C#, ASP, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, etc.

  • Proficient written and verbal skills

  • Strong understanding of Natural Language design and Directed Dialogue design techniques for speech applications

  • Strong knowledge of various speech engine capabilities and tuning concepts

  • Ideal candidate will have experience with Nuance, Watson and Google speech engines/tools

In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience with:

  • Nuance speech engines (ASR/TTS) and tools with an emphasis on Nuance Recognizer, Vocalizer, Dragon

  • Nuance MRCP (SWMS or Nuance Speech Server) and Licensing components

  • Voice Biometrics Solutions

  • Implementing Natural Language applications and tools

  • Dictionary creation for ASR/TTS

  • SSML and tuning Text-To-Speech systems

  • VXML based IVR platforms such as GVP, CVP, AVP and others

  • Experience with web technology and application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, IIS, Apache, WebLogic

  • Integration with back-end data systems and CTI such as

  • Genesys CTI, Cisco ICM

  • Web Services, HTTPS/XML, REST API, Soap

  • Database via SQL, JDBC/ADO.NET (MS SQL Server, Oracle, Informix, MongoDB)

  • CLEO / Legacy emulation (ex. 3270)

  • Reporting

  • Speech to text and Text to speech services such as Nuance, Google and Watson

  • Natural Language Processing and chat platforms such as Google, Watson, Rulai and LivePerson

  • Continuous Improvement process

  • Cloud Services Architecture

  • Additional Development Languages such as Python, R, Objective C, Swift, NodeJS, SDK development

  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills a plus

  • Travel up to 35%

COMPENSATION and benefits

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $61,000 to $120,000. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
