TechInsights Site Reliability Engineer in Englewood, Colorado

TechInsights analyzes technology products from the package to the atomic level to reveal the innovations others cannot. We document our analyses in detail and make this data available to customers through our proprietary platforms and tools. Our clients use our technology intelligence to innovate and advance the world we live in.


  • Work with Scrum teams including developers and product owners to support a new infrastructure and operational needs; design, test, manage and maintain tools to automate operational processes

  • Use automation to streamline the provisioning, configuration management and monitoring of applications and resources

  • Manage a continuous deployment pipeline to fully automate the deployment of the highly available, mission-critical applications

  • Monitor and observe the behavior of application and system performance during tests or production; assess gaps in monitoring tool capabilities and recommend tools to augment or replace

  • Develop and automate standard operating procedures around common failure scenarios

  • Develop procedures and policies around infrastructure patterns to be leveraged by development teams

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production environments

  • Ensure the scalability, performance and resilience of our suite of products


  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Expertise with analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale, multi-region deployments in a public cloud (e.g. AWS)

  • Experience with cloud deployment and management tools (e.g. Terraform, GitOps)

  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g. Cloudwatch, Data Dog, PagerDuty)

  • Ability to solve complex problems, optimize code, and automate routine tasks

  • Experience with container technology is highly preferred (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)

  • Demonstrable scripting experience, preferably in Python or Java

  • Experience with cost reporting tools (e.g. AWS Cost Explorer, Kubecost)

  • Can effectively work with remote teams and collaborate through technical means
