As the Assistant Channel Marketing Manager, you will be a project manager with exceptional decision making skills to execute projects with excellence. In this role, you will have a knowledge of our brands and our customers’ businesses. You will be identifying innovative opportunities and understand category and market positioning. You will serve as the liaison between sales and marketing and will be responsible for driving tailored sell-in and sell-through programs for key partners.

Build a solid foundation of shopper knowledge and awareness around the critical touchpoints along the path-to-purchase, with a digital first approach
Support brand and product strategy by leveraging shopper and Customer insights
Develop and manage execution of overall go-to-market strategy for each Customer, with help from Channel Manager (alignment between Customer and Otter Products objectives)
Responsible for competitive auditing/reporting
Ability to lead, facilitate, and partner with Customer/marketing teams on marketing objectives and strategies
Feel comfortable presenting in front of customers (buying, marketing teams)
Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, product and creative departments to ensure alignment on business goals and objectives
Act as a liaison to communicate Voice of Customer feedback to internal cross-functional stakeholders
Drive execution and management of Customer-specific holistic launch programs to support sell-in and encourage sell-through
Kick-off marketing briefs and lead entire cross-functional project management process, from start to finish. Include creative, brand/product marketing, product, sales, finance and freight/transportation teams/departments
Manage planning and execution of digital merchandising and marketing programs with cross functional teams
Assist in ROI/post-mortem information collecting and reporting
Manage and assist 3rd party vendors (marketing POS/collateral and 3rd party labor group) to ensure projects are on time, budget and meeting program expectations
Maintain yearly customer marketing calendars, product assortment, and on-going status documents
Ability to proactively plan, own and manage operating expense budget for Customer accounts; escalate communication to Channel Manager for key status reporting as business requires
Submit estimates for legal contracts, setup new vendors and NDA’s, apply/submit POs, manage invoices, track all spend (actuals/accruals)
Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment
Other duties as required
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum three years of Customer and/or brand marketing experience required.
Ability to travel up to 15% required.
Experience managing budgets and determining ROI on projects preferred
Experience with National retailers preferred
Digital, events and/or field marketing/training experience preferred
