Completes ASIC physical design layout for highly complex mixed signal and analog circuits in an advanced CMOS process (28nm or below). Reads/interprets schematics and specifications as needed to complete design of circuit implementation in layout. Possesses awareness of RC parasitics, EM, IR drop, latch-up, and ESD. Possesses experience with Perl, TCL and SKILL scripting. Reviews and analyzes floorplans and complex circuits with circuit designers. May run complete set of design verification tools. Works with circuit designers to plan and schedule work and negotiate any necessary layout tradeoffs as needed. Interprets LVS and DRC reports to find the fastest way to complete layout. Meets engineering specifications and expectations by working closely with the circuit design team. Utilizes advanced CAD tools and mask design knowledge to deliver correct and robust layout that meets stringent matching performance, area and power requirements. Works closely with CAD tool team to ensure tools meet the mask design team’s needs. Has experience in written and verbal communication and a mastery of the English languish. Possesses analytical and problem solving skills.

Education and Experience

• Minimum 5 years layout design experience.

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology or at least three years of formal study in related technical field preferred.
