At HP, the future'syours to create!Team:UX Design team working on Software that ships with HP products such asSpectre, Envy, Elite and OMEN gaming PC. Team consists with UXdesigners, Interaction designers, Visual designers and User researcher.Team works closely with Product Manager team and Development team.Responsibilities: Working on a small size project which will be potentiallya part of shipping product. Deliverable will be in form of design asset,design guide and specs, presentation of final project.Applying as Visual DesignerWork closely with UX partners and product managers to ideate and define.Produce quality design that accurately reflect a visual design language orbrand guideline.Understand of typography, color, grid, and composition. Demonstrate bestpractices for pixel-perfect production considerations and methods.Use a broad range of style that can be consistently executed with an aestheticpersonality or voice that is consistent, though not restricting.Applying as Interaction DesignerProduce and test interaction flows and mocks that accurately communicateproduct functionality to product, engineering, and visual design team members.Pair research with an intellectual curiosity that encourages testing anditeration is essential.Understand modern environments such as Android UI, and iOS UI, MS Windowsas well as how the technologies of each can be used to further enhance theoverall experience.Appreciate aesthetic details.Applying as UX prototype designerWork closely with UX partners and product managers to ideate and define.Produce interactive prototype that accurately reflect interaction flows withhigh fidelity visual assets.Understand modern platform such as Android UI, and iOS UI, MS Windows aswell as how the technologies of each can be used to further enhance theoverall experience.Preferred Majors:Currently pursuing a BA/BS/Master degree in graphic design,human-computer interaction or related field and graduating in 2020.Required Knowledge and Skills:A design portfolio that demonstrates design principles for Web/PC or mobileplatforms.Demonstrable proficiency with design tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop,Sketch, Illustrator, After Effects, Quartz Composer, Framer Studio, etc.)Preferred Knowledge and Skills:Ability to apply brand visual assets in a user interface context andunderstanding of user-centered design principles.Solid analytical, creative and visual thinker with excellent communicationskills, both verbal and visual.Strong design background in fundamentals along with relevant internshipwork, work experience, or personal project experience outside theclassroom in interaction, graphic design or motion design.For prototyper: Fluent on React or React Native to implement prototypeEducation and Experience Required:Bachelors degree 1st year of Master's program completed.#LI-POSTDesign Intern - Be able to conduct their own project related toUX/HCI/Interaction design - Use tools such as Adobe or other prototypingtools to contact their design work - Be able to help existing design projectand to communicate and collaborate with Design teamAdvertisementHP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
