IQVIA Biotech is seeking a Informatics Report Developer for a full-time opportunity.

BASIC FUNCTIONS :

Develop and maintain custom reports for use in clinical trials, load data from various sources into data warehouse, and program custom tables, views, and procedures for ongoing data review.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create, design, and develop custom reports using a variety of tools and technologies

• Monitoring and tuning data loads and queries

• Develop and prepare schedules for data inputs and outputs

• Analyze large databases/datasets and recommend appropriate optimization

• Thoroughly understand specifications and actively engage in various functional requirements for data inputs/outputs

• Proactively research solutions and best practices, actively sharing and mentoring teams within and across the organization

• Prepare, package, and manage various code designs with revisions

• Properly manage all source code and ensure the quality of project deliverables

• Monitor data warehouse work and provide subject matter expertise

• Develop custom applications and processes using C#/.NET as needed for specific project or departmental needs

• Perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of clinical research process and methodology

• Understanding of current GCP, ICH, and FDA guidelines and regulations applicable to conduct of clinical research

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required

• Creative problem solving and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work within a team or independently to carry out assignments of a complex nature, often with several assignments at the same time in different phases of development and QC

• Expert knowledge of C#/.NET and SQL, specifically Oracle PL/SQL

• Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2

• Experience using one or more Reporting/Analytic/Business Intelligence platforms like IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects, Qlik Sense, Spotfire, Power BI

• Solid understanding of all applicable ETL (Extract/Transformation/Load) procedures and architectures

• Experience designing, developing, and implementing complex custom reports using various data sources

• Experience implementing software development life cycle methodology

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:

• B. S. in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, or Information Technology or equivalent education

• 5+ years work experience in programming

• Proven experience leading teams and driving large scale initiatives

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay For Equal Work Act, salary range is displayed - Salary Pay Range: $94,400 - $118,000
