Intel SoC Design Engineer in Fort Collins, Colorado

Job Description

Become a key member of the Ft. Collins cache or clock generation design teams-these teams includes all disciplines such as analog design, logic design, mixed-signal validation, and structural design. In addition, these teams do both pre- and post-silicon work on their products. These teams are part of Intel's silicon engineering group responsible for designing server CPUs and base-station chips in Intel's leading process nodes. This specific job is for an experienced structural design engineer. Responsibilities include: building and validating the physical construction flows for the blocks that the teams deliver to various internal SoC customers. This work involves floor planning, SYN/APR runs, timing analysis, and layout clean up.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, including background in computer architecture and VLSI design. Candidates should have 5+ years of direct experience with physical design and SoC design.
