Danaher Corporation Vertical Marketing Manager (m/f/d) in Fort Collins, Colorado
The Vertical Market Manager (VMM) is a key strategic position within the marketing team. The VMM drives growth by leading the assigned vertical strategic plan for the respective markets. This includes understanding market drivers and opportunities, the interconnectedness of Hach’s solutions and developing and executing strategies to drive growth in existing and adjacent markets. This role will ensure alignment with the rest of the vertical team, the broader marketing team, sales, service, R&D, operations, and Claros/IoT. A successful VMM is customer focused, strategic, action oriented, has a strong organizational agility and leads by influence to identify and implement growth initiatives.
This position may also assume responsibility for cross-functional company and/or Marketing-wide initiatives and meetings as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for global revenue growth within the respective market segment
Continuously follow industry trends, understand market drivers to identify opportunities and threats and convert these into insights, strategy and actions
Lead a cross-functional team to create an annual commercial plan with specific tactics to deliver annual growth objectives and quickly change direction when internal or external opportunities arise
Collaborate with sales leaders to align on specific needs to implement growth strategies and adapt when needed
Brings customer centricity to all commercial activities by gathering VOC to understand customer pain points
Drive cross-functional alignment with the rest of the marketing team, sales, service, and Claros/IoT
Understand and leverages the relevant Danaher Business System (DBS), including but not limited to: Problem Solving, Daily Management, Launch Excellence, Customer Segmentation, VOC
Develop talent within the team and assist with identifying and preparing a successor

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other Marketing advanced degree desired
3+ years of progressive work experience; product management/marketing experience preferred

Demonstrated ability to drive growth initiatives by working cross-functionally in a matrix organization
