Based on the scope ofwork, the individual should be enrolled in a college formal Co-op programreceiving University credits for work experience. The VLSI design verificationteam ensures that chip designs are free from design problems. The teamconsists of engineers with an in-depth knowledge of computer architecture,systems design, and software development methodologies. The team models thechips design using object oriented programming languages and uses these modelsin simulation to verify correct behavior.Roles/Responsibilities:Co-op/interns participate on projects related to delivering HPE's next-generation high performance server products.Under the guidance of a mentor, the candidate will use their knowledge andcreativity to complete assignments within the existing team targeted atdesigning, debugging, and qualifying hardware; a great chance to gainindustry experience.Education/Experience:Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.Must have completed the second year of engineering studies, although thecompletion of third year is preferred.Coursework in EE fundamentals, digital logic, computer architecture,software engineering, and/or data structuresCoursework in C or C++ (or equivalent language), and Object OrientedDesign (in a UNIX environment preferred)Enrolled in college formal co-op program receiving University credit for workexperience is preferred.Ability to work co-op program/internship at HPE full time January-Septemberis preferred.Fluency in English along with strong verbal and written communication skillsCommitment, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a team orientedenvironment is essentialEnjoy learning and working on hardwareWe offer:A competitive salary and extensive social benefitsDiverse and dynamic work environmentWork-life balance and support for career developmentWant to know more about HPE?
