We are looking for passionate, curious, and collaborativeteam-members who will help us deliver solutions that provide superior valuefor our customers and deliver business value to HP.DescriptionLeads one or more software development teams and is accountable forresources, schedule, deliverables, and people management. Works within across-functional program team to deliver full solutions. Provides guidance onprocess improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tacticsand strategy for area of responsibility. Plans, manages and monitorsoperational/tactical activities of team. Recruits and supports developmentof direct staff members.Additional guidance/criteria:Manages and controls activities within a single country or a sub-region whichis part of a larger geographical Region.Manages at least 4 employees and typically between 8 and 15 direct reports.Span of Control guidelines may differ from these numbers.Responsibilities:Provides direct and engaged leadership for a team of individual contributorsdesigning and developing new products, enhancements and updates andcoordinating projects for complex software applications.Working with customers and marketing, identifies opportunities and drivesinnovation for product deliverables to enhance customer experiences.Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multipleongoing projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated andthat goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordancewith program and organizational roadmaps.Communicates project status and escalates issues to direct managers, programmanagers, and internal and external development partners.Ensures compliance with privacy and security standards.Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, includingsetting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules,and costs; ensures that team members are effectively communicating andcollaborating with outsourced resources.Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and costreductions opportunities.Provides people-care management for assigned team members, includinghiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching,and career development; ensures that proper knowledge and career developmenttools are in place to support ongoing team member and process development.Education and Experience Required:First level university degree or equivalent experience required.May have advanced university degree.Typically 5 or more years of related work experience, including 0 -2 yearsof people management experience.Knowledge and Skills:Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, andconflict resolution.Advanced project management skills including time and risk management,resource prioritization, and project structuring.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Ability to manage people across geographies to drive workforce development andachieve desired results.Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation,presentation, and influence skills.Advanced bu
