Ability to effectively build reports and dashboards; gathers data into Excel and builds spreadsheets using correct formulas, notes, and links between tables and worksheets
Document procedures to streamline current processes and strengthen internal control
Prepare materials for leadership review
Other tasks as necessary to support the Finance Department meet corporate goals
Maintain and monitor new hires, transfers, and term FTEs at both an organizational and department level (and specific to the Risk Bearing Entity work)
Calculate turnover costs
Support proposed new FTE budgeted and non-budgeted as requested by the various departments at New West by providing financial justification calculations
Work with managers to ensure FTE GL strings are accurate, make necessary corrections to Optum
Support Finance Director with FTE and Workforce Cost forecasting on a quarterly basis
Based on a compensation market analysis, assist the Compensation department in making baseline salary recommendations for our provider staff including physicians and advanced practice clinician
Responsible for monthly and quarterly incentive compensation processing, validation, analysis, and distribution of incentive compensation reports
Audit payroll files; complete accounting journal entries as necessary
Provider & Clinic Performance:
Develop and prepare insightful reporting and analysis on a recurring and ad-hoc basis to communicate provider and clinic performance
Provide individualized business analysis to our clinics and senior leadership
