Alpine Bank Applications Support Administrator in Grand Junction, Colorado

DescriptionGeneral PurposeThe Application Support Administrator position supports off the shelf softwareincluding installing, configuring, testing, monitoring and troubleshooting.Starting Pay Rate is $16.90 per hour.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilitiesto perform the essential functions.System analysis techniques and procedures are exercised, includingconsulting with users, to determine hardware, software or systemfunctional specifications.Responsible for the application security process, user setup, roleprivilege definition, assignment and security permissions and overseeing theinstallation and/or upgrade of software package releases.Works with the infrastructure team on server operations system updates andpatches along with server troubleshooting.Researches information for system requirements on upgrades and futurereleases.Gives input on plans for future directions and platforms for system hardwareto coincide with the long-term priorities, goals and needs of theorganization.Works closely with Application owners and users to evaluate and prioritizeinstallation of new features and enhancements as needed.Prepares and executes testing and data validation of new development andenhancements.Responsible for maintenance and support of interfaces into other applicationsas necessary and also responsible for release upgrades and patch installationfor assigned systems to keep all systems up-to-date. May require of workingoutside of normal schedule during upgrades or system outages.This position does not develop code.Other Duties/ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with other Application Support Administrators, the entire ITdepartment, multiple outside departments, Alpine employees and softwarevendorsWork closely with vendors' support personnel to resolve issues in a timelyand professional manner.Works closely with training and location staff for application use.Performs other duties as assigned.Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job.Job QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Ability:Demonstrates critical thinking skills and has ability to make decisions withminimum direct supervision.Is detail orientated, able to multi-task and able to effectively prioritizetasks.Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills.Knowledgeable technologically; willing and able to learn administrativefunctions for various applications.Understanding and application of banking compliance regulations.Must exhibit strong teamwork ethics, a willingness to be active indepartment and bank functions, help with projects, and exhibit a positiveattitude.Education or Formal Training:High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalentCMC (or other) A+Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Colorado DriversLicense, required.The successful candidate will need to obtain the following internal trainingwithin 12 months of being hired.Basic understanding of banking regulations. This individual should completeapplicable BVS training and learn to apply banking regulations whenapplicable.Practice exceptional service with customers using training programs andmeasurement tools. These include (but are not limited to) Alpine Way/CARE training as well as HEAT Support Call customer call follow up practices.
