S/he will engage with all departmentheads, elected officials, staff and external personnel and agencies asdirected. Duties include but are not limited to: monitoring the entirecyber security responsibility throughout our organization, writing andrecommending security policies as needed, implementing security policies,participating in all teams involving a cyber security matter, meeting allcyber security reporting requirements both internal and external, advisingand consulting on cyber security matters throughout the county, maintainingand revising the IT business continuity manual, being on-call as needed tohandle cyber security incidents per established protocol and other duties asassigned. All responsibilities may not beperformed by all incumbents.)Maintain an excellent cyber security posture for our organization.Develop appropriate cyber security policies and procedures with appropriateinput.Continuously maintain the IT Business Continuity Manual.Establish and implement appropriate critical incident policies and procedures.Communicate with all stakeholders regarding cyber security appropriately.Establish and maintain appropriate cyber security training for all staff.Maintain an excellent working relationship with IT management and staff.Continuously monitor appropriate cyber security resources for threats andopportunities.Be committed to continual learning and upgrading of skill base.Recommend additional tools and resources to effectively support a robust cybersecurity environment.Commit to a customer service perspective.Commit to being a team player and to readily taking direction from superiors.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science,Business Administration, or related field.Master's Degree preferred.Five (5) years of related experience in a cyber security role.Any combination of education, training and experience which provides theknowledge, skills and abilities required for the job.Licenses & Certifications:Security certification such as Global Information Assurance Certification(GIAC): Global Information Security Professional (GISP) is highly desired.Supplemental Information:PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:This position requires standing, stooping, sitting, bending,twisting, and lifting up to 25 pounds.Work is generally confined to a standard office environment.How to apply: Apply online
