Days and hours may vary Sunday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.Salary negotiable depending on experience. Paid monthly.Requirements:Education/Credentials- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in ResearchMethodology, Statistics, Public Health or related field (Psychology,Counseling, Social Work, etc.) with emphasis on research or equivalentcombination of education and experience.- PhD may substitute for 2 years' experience.- A background check and substance abuse screen will be required.Experience- 3 years' experience in designing and conducting program evaluations, orin applied social science research.- Experience collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data(i.e. data surveys, standardized pre and post measures, health care datafrom EHR, interviews and focus groups).- Advanced proficiency with software products (e.g., Microsoft OfficeSuite, Visio, and/or statistical software like SAS or SPSS), dataentry, and data management.- Background in Behavioral Health, not-for-profit setting, healthcareand/or social issues highly desirable.- Quality Improvement experience preferred.Knowledge of:- Principles of process and outcome evaluation as well as participantconfidentiality and protection procedures.- Methods and techniques of social research and program evaluation,statistical concepts for evaluation of programs, and relational databases.- Evaluation indicators that will capture outcomes.- Organizational structure, workflow and operating procedures.- Organizational sensitivity regarding complex relationships with federal,state and local agencies, government entities, and grant funders.Skills/Abilities to:- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including, but not limited to,leadership, program staff, grant funders and customers.- Manage advanced computer operations and applications. Demonstrate fluencyin a statistical software package (Stata, SAS or SPSS) and use ofadvanced Excel functionalities.- Examine available data, apply decision rules and analytical methods,produce descriptive and inferential statistics, and prepare meaningfulreports based on analyses that enable programmatic next steps and actions.- Utilize desktop publishing applications, graphic-design tools, and/orother desktop software to transform data and research into visually impactfuland user-friendly information.- Write and speak clearly and succinctly in a variety of communicationssettings and styles; summarize findings and present them in ways easilyunderstandable to decision-makers.- Strong attention to detail, organization and accuracy of information,including the ability to organize large amounts of data and track multipleprojects simultaneously, setting priorities for analysis and use inconsultation with numerous stakeholders.Duties:- Facilitates survey distribution, focus groups or key informant interviewsto gather data and/or feedback.- Complete work in an accurate, timely manner. May manage multiple programevaluation efforts concurrently.- Participate as a member of the committees focused on quality assurance andimprovement.- Consult with program staff to develop a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) inresponse to identified findings of non-compliance with agency and/orregulatory standards.- Provide assistance to the staff in implementing the CAP includingproviding/arranging trainings, identifying additional resources for thestaff to implement the plan.- Provide results of chart reviews, program analysis results and othercriteria identified as requested.- Perform other duties as assigned.
