Company is seeking a GIS or Geomatics Lead Analyst with a minimumof 5 years' experience to work in the Phoenix, AZ area. This is atemporary position (6 months) with a possible opportunity to extend anadditional 6 months. The ideal candidate will act as a technical expert andperform GIS tasks including creating and managing spatial features,developing databases, data conversion, and spatial analysis. Proven skillsin ArcGIS including geodatabases and SDSFIE geospatial standards required.This position is located at a client site, not a Merrick office.Job DescriptionActs as a technical expert and leader for various types of GIS, engineering.and. planning projects.Performs GIS tasks which include creating and managing spatial features,developing .and. administrating databases, data conversions, and performsspatial analysis using geoprocessing tools.This position requires limited travel. It is anticipated that there will be aminimum of 3 travel events within Arizona, California, and New Mexico.This position requires 50-hour work weeks made up of five (5) ten-hourdays, beginning at 7:30 AM and ending at 6:00 PM with a 30-minute lunchperiod, Monday thru Friday, excluding Federal holidays. Consistentattendance and punctuality required.
