Verizon Wireless Senior Data Analytics Manager in Greenwood Village, Colorado

What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for the development, maintenance and deployment of sales reporting and analytical insights for the National Business Marketing & Operations team. You will drive the application and adoption of national reporting and tools in both sales and marketing.

You will develop and implement programs designed to achieve marketing and sales reporting goals, manage team responsible for data analysis, modeling and business intelligence, and work closely with Market leadership to ensure reporting adequately supports sales management requirements.

  • Manage the development of automated reporting and insights for the business channel and marketing teams.

  • Partner with Finance and the BI team to drive the adoption of National reporting and eliminate duplicative reporting efforts.

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators and effectively communicate results to sales leadership.

  • Work with Sales leadership in the development and execution of business sales reporting and insights.

  • Monitor key performance indicators to determine the impact and success of programs and promotions.

  • Work with Segment Marketing, Product Marketing, and Sales leadership to develop and execute business strategies.

  • Align sales reporting initiatives to compliment and support the technology and systems roadmap in support of sales enablement.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree – more impressive if you have an MBA.

  • 5 plus years of experience in business sales and/or operations (financial services experience preferred).

  • 5 plus years of experience in data analysis used to deliver market and competitive intelligence.

  • 5 plus years of experience in programming languages (SQL (SSRS/SSIS), Tableau, Java, Python, Einstein Analytics (WAVE))

  • Experience leveraging analytics to lead the development of business strategies.

  • Experience collaborating with senior leaders across the business to effectively gain alignment and drive strategies.

  • Analytical reasoning abilities, intellectual curiosity, and strong business acumen.

  • Ability to be agile & nimble to changing business conditions and priorities.
