Kforce Senior Product Manager in Greenwood Village, Colorado

Kforce has a client in search of a Senior Product Manager in Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO). Summary: Responsible for defining and launching a leading product development process (from ideation to successful product launch) to be used by enterprise customers. Input gathering, budgeting and authoring of product requirements definition will be at the center of a fast paced, highly visible effort. The role will report to the Director, Product Development but will operate in a highly matrixed environment with numerous key stakeholders.Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and communication of Product Strategies dependent on new services/features to drive financial results

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, product management, field services, and marketing stakeholders in gathering product requirements and deriving functional and technical specifications

  • Identify product improvement areas and work cross-functionally to implement these improvements through development of clear functional requirements

  • Work closely with the Product Delivery/PMO group to drive the product development cycle, represent and champion the product during the development lifecycle

  • Serve as Product Owner (Agile PDLC) between functional groups for product definition

  • Lead content and product launches and enhancements of products in all Operating Units to include working with Corporate Engineering, Corporate and Field Marketing and Field Engineering

  • BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Information Technology

  • IT/Telecom certifications preferred

  • Related industry experience (Cable, Telecommunications, Software/Online Services) - 5 years

  • Product Management and/or Product Development experience - 5 years

  • LTE and/or IOT experience - 2 years

  • Exposure to Enterprise Managed Services

  • Good understanding of current Internet threats, mitigation techniques and related pros & cons

  • Familiarity with major router and security product lines from leading infrastructure vendors

  • Deep understanding of industry best practices in product development processes (PDLC) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

  • Solid grasp on Enterprise market drivers, Managed Services Provider (MSP) strategies, and product performance tracking metrics

  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Excellent cognitive and communication skills

  • Ability to lead large, cross-functional teams in order to achieve business goals and results

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
