MYR Group Service Desk Technician Application Support in Henderson, Colorado
Position Summary Working with a team, this position will provide application supportservices for over 2,000 users across the nation. This position will focus ononboarding/offboarding end users into company systems (Active Directory,Office 365, JD Edwards Enterprise One, Taleo, Hubble, etc.) as wellas providing tier I application support for users. Duties/Responsibilities * Onboarding/off boarding of new staff and associated user accounts inActive Directory, Office 365 and Exchange Online as well as withinapplications such as JD Edwards Enterprise One, Taleo, etc. * Follow established procedures and documentation requirements to ensure SOXcompliance requirements are upheld * Respond to assignments and document progress and resolution within thecompany service request ticketing and tracking system * Provide tier I software support services within small and medium officeenvironments * Keep abreast of new trends and emerging technologies in the IT industry * Train people in the use of company systems * Learn the various computing and data needs of our company, managers,and users in efforts to reduce computing frustrations, ensure datasecurity, and drive productivity * Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct andEthics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conductstandards, if applicable * Other duties as assigned Personal Skills * Motivated to deliver a high degree of customer service * Ability to communicate in an effective and positive manner * Must be able to work independently and multi-task in atechnically-evolving, multi-faceted environment * High problem solving and analytical abilities for diagnosis and repair * Ability to translate and explain computer issues to users in ways that makesense and apply to their daily business needs * The ideal candidate must be an independently motivated, a collaborativeteam player and adaptable to different situations and personalitiesEducation/Experience (Required) * Associate' or Bachelor's degree in an IT related field, or two yearsof working experience with application support. * Minimum two years working experience with Microsoft Windows operatingsystems (desktops and laptops) on a LAN/WLAN * Experience with user setup and configuration in Active Directory and Office365 Experience troubleshooting application issues * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and other common business applicationsPreferred * Experience with user setup and configuration in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, or another ERP system * Microsoft Certified Professional in supporting Windows 7 or higher * Experience with using Citrix client and PC imaging software * A+ certificationExcellent benefits including: * Paid vacation * Paid holidays * Medical * Dental * Vision * Life insurance * 401kSalary commensurate with experience.
