The team will look to the Business Analyst to helpestablish and streamline policies and procedures throughout the department inaddition to supporting best practices in sales forecasting, reporting, andcommunications.As the Business Analyst, you will be a key contributor to the Divisionsuccess by:i) researching, organizing, and analyzing business data;ii) providing managers with timely and actionable business information,including regular reporting and frequent custom analyses;iii) performing complex operational modeling on a range of business issuesiv) serving as a systems expert and key point of contact for analytics andreporting.Ultimately, the position is relied upon as the main resource for operationaldata and analys is across the business.Ideal candidates will have Business Analysis experience, excellentcommunication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced andfun environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe position has a range of responsibilities including the following:* Develops, manages, and executes a wide variety of critical monthlyreports and analyzes to support the Sales and Operations managers.* Analysis and Reporting topics include financial performance, sales backlogand forecast, key performance indicators (DSO, Credit & Corrections,win/loss, market growth), ASP and volume variance, and productionefficiency, among others.* Leads a portion of the Quintiq Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP)effort in the Rocky Mountain Division. This is a long-term, complex, andhighly dynamic process that will inform our vertical integration strategiesalong the Front Range.* Facilitates dialogue with the sales, operational, and management teamsof each product line in the Division to collect and consolidatesales/production forecast information to be fed into Quintiq and AggregateSupply/Demand modeling.* Maintains the Product Codes and Price Book* Administers Salesforce.com (SFDC) for the District and participates onthe company's SFDC users committee.* Develops and manages reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com ensuring salesreps and leaders have access to key data required to successfully manage thebusiness.* Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports andexternal intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommendsrevisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of newreporting tools as needed.* Supports the annual budgeting process by providing managers with informationrequired to develop financial and operational forecasts. Analyzes trends andother factors affecting business performance.* Performs custom, and often complex, analyses at the request ofmanagement. These requests require a strong knowledge of the business, alongwith the systems expertise required to obtain the needed information.* Enjoys using problem-solving, business analysis, and database skills toprovide insight into business issues under moderate guidance.
