The person in thisrole will support sales activities by covering cases, educating and traininghospital staff, managing inventory at distributors and hospitals, andmanaging ordering process.LOCATION: This role is field-based and the Field Sales Support Specialistwill travel to different hospitals, surgery centers, clinics and privatepractices throughout Austin, TX and the surrounding areas. Travel to otherareas will be required as needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIESAttend surgical procedures and provide technical expertise to physicians insterile operating room environment (ie. Case coverage)Works closely with customer service, distributors and hospitals to ensureseamless order management process.Manage inventory at distributors and hospitals to ensure producttraceability, accurate replenishment orders and appropriate disposition ofexpired product.Audit inventory at distributor locations to verify consigned stocks andcoordinate replenishment with customer service.Ensure POs are issued in a timely manner to smooth billing cycleUnderstand customer replenishment cycle and provide forecast for demandResponsible for conducting customer in-service training on appropriatetechnologies.Identify sales leads and enter them into sales management toolAct as LMS admin to coordinate distributor access to training and makelearning assignmentsMINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSSkillsAbility to operate in a steril surgical environementAnalytical capability to identify problems and work collaboartely to resolveissuesAbility to interact professionally and effectively with customers,physicians, nurses, and other technical medical staff.Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use themeffectively.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingEducationAssociate degree in healthcare procedural technical degree with 2 yearsexperienceBachelor's degree preferabley in Science or Clinical field with 1 yearexperienceExperienceMinimum 1 year experience.
