DescriptionDETAILED DESCRIPTION:The Organizational Change Management Consultant will support change managementefforts for continuous improvement within the organization for internalprojects. The OCM Consultant will focus on the people side of change,including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job rolesand organization structures. This individual is responsible for supporting therest of the change management function with tools and reporting to help thegoal of strategically assessing, developing, and executing creative,multi-channel communications, resistance management, and reinforcementplans that maximize employee adoption and usage, minimize resistance, andalign with and support BC's Company of Choice Strategy.The OCM Consultant will be required to collaborate with many others in theorganization to succeed. He/she will act as a coach for senior leaders andexecutives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. The OCMConsultant may also provide direct support and coaching to all levels ofmanagers and supervisors as they help their direct reports throughtransitions.The preferred location for this position is Denver, CO. No relocationassistance provided.Part-Time (up to 20 hours per week)Who you are:You are an excellent communicator and exercise good judgement. You know that changemanagement is not a one-size fits-all concept and you use your experience andunderstanding of your clients' needs to create a customized action plan. Youhave an innate capacity to transition from one project to another withoutskipping a beat.What you will do:Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities(utilizing and improving established BC methodologies and philosophies forchange).Work in alignment with company-wide communications effortsChampion change management. Train the organization on change managementprincipals and manage the BC change portfolio.Support change management at the organizational level by collaborating withchange management practitioners across the business.Lead key change management activities related to the most importantimperatives of the company as required.Evaluate and ensure user readiness.Track and report issues through early escalation of issues to key stakeholdersAssess the change impact. Conduct impact analyses, assess change readinessand identify key stakeholders for initiatives.Support and engage senior leaders. Drive a common enterprise approach to CMacross both external and internal projects (link and align internal andexternal change management approaches and people).Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics. Create actionabledeliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan,sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.Your key partners:Director of Business Transformation - The OCM Lead will work closely withthe DBT to prioritize change activities, identify bottlenecks, and helpguide the enterprise to the correct cadence for changeCore Imperative Project Managers - either directly or indirectly engage withPMs to drive effective change management across all core imperativesFunctional leaders - engage monthly with functional leads to assess changeitems and coordinate them across the enterprise to ensure employees canprocess and implement core change concepts into business operationsDirector of Corporate Communications - close communication between CM andcomms is essential for BC to operate effectivelyBusiness Unit leaders - related to Change Management aspects of our clientbusinessDesired Skills and Experience:A minimum of 5 years of change management experience and knowledge of changemanagement principles, methodologies, and tools plus 8-10 years ofpractical business experience require
