Kforce Senior Systems / Cloud Administrator in Lakewood, Colorado

Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Systems/Cloud Administrator in Lakewood, CO.Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced systems administration of complex assignments, maintain, support, administer, install, and troubleshoot a variety of enterprise level technology platforms and operating systems including, but not limited to, enterprise-level Microsoft technologies (e.g. Office 365, Skype, Exchange, SharePoint, etc.), and/or business-specific technology platforms

  • Perform advanced systems administration of enterprise or business-specific technologies as assigned, including, but not limited to, company practice areas, Action Groups, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, Health and Safety, Corporate Development, and others as may be required of this role)

  • Effective, advanced level utilization of management tools of assigned systems (e.g. PowerShell, scripting, Command Line Interfaces (CLI), Graphical User Interface (GUI), console applications, etc.)

  • Administer security controls, governance, compliance and data loss prevention to secure enterprise computing assets from vulnerabilities and threats pursuant with company policy (e.g. anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-spy ware, etc.) as it relates to this position

  • Consult with, coordinate, assist and monitor the performance of vendors, manufacturer representatives and outside consultants who install, repair or provide other technical support services

  • Plan, implement and lead other systems administrators in related systems upgrades, patches, and installation of new applications and equipment

  • Administer system audits, perform preventative maintenance, make recommendation to manager any network escalation and problem resolution requirements, perform corrective actions and delegate to network team members as may be needed

  • Receive, screen, and provide requested technical support to end-users and/or escalate requests to appropriate IT staff via Service Desk or other communication media

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university, along with a minimum of four (4) to seven (7) years' minimum of IT industry related experience or over 11 years of relevant experience supplemented by coursework in field or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training

  • Ability to apply advanced methods, procedures, practices and processes derived from technical training and experience to effectively diagnose and solve complex technical problems promptly and effectively.

  • Advanced technical expertise and proficiency in administering, installing, troubleshooting, diagnosing and supporting business-specific technology business systems

  • Knowledge and expertise supporting on-premise computing, cloud computing, data networking and voice communication technologies with a focus on Microsoft-based business delivery systems including, but not limited to, Office 365, Exchange, AD, ADFS, enterprise messaging and communication systems, MS Windows Server operating systems, group policy administration and related administration, implementation, deployment and troubleshooting

  • Firm understanding of Active Directory, Group policy, DNS, DHCP, WAN/LAN, voice, routing, switching and general network topology administration as it relates to this position

  • Successful, prior experience working in a team environment
