Setpoint Systems Corporation Help Desk Technician in Littleton, Colorado



Setpoint Systems is a 36-year-old, award-winning, growing integrator of building control systems in the Rocky Mountain region. Due to our growth we are in search of a high energy Help Desk Technician with problem-solving skills.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the IT assistance and processes of the company. You will work with the IT team in all areas of the company.

Responsibilities ? IT Department:

  • Provides support for company?s server, web site and PCs.

  • Provides support for company?s network infrastructure.

  • Provides support for company?s desktops, notebooks, phones, tablets and other user technologies.

  • Provides support for company?s software.

  • Provides support for company?s telecommunication hardware and software.

  • Maintains company?s cell phones.

  • Provides support in generating, maintaining and documenting company?s hardware and software needs and requirements.

  • Provides employee training on company-wide systems, hardware and software.

RESPONSIBILITES - Operations Department:

  • Assists in Operator Workstation Hardware and Software selection.

  • Is responsible for performing in-house configuration, testing and commissioning of installed operator workstations, servers, and software.

  • Is responsible for emergency calls with customers related to PCs, servers, printers, modems, networks, and integration devices.

  • responsibilities ? Service department:

  • Assists in employee - customer development.

  • Assists in employee - customer training.

  • Assists in employee - customer interface.

  • Maintains proper documentation (service orders).

  • Coordinates proper billing information.

  • Estimates labor and material - in-house and construction.

  • Communicates status, availability, recommendations, and follow-up.

MAINTAINS, Develops, and Executes DOCUMENTATION:

  • Project Files:

  • Correspondence.

  • Project information.

  • Labor schedules.

  • Project schedules - in-house, construction and service.

  • Material schedules.

  • Material requisitions.

  • Checkout and startup reports.

  • Commissioning reports.

  • Warranty information.

  • Service orders.

  • Project Drawings:

  • Asbuilt drawings.

  • Operations and maintenance manuals.

  • Software.

  • Construction drawings.
