If you want towork for a great company where you will have the opportunity to advance yourcareer, join our growing team as a Installation Technician in Littleton, CO.What you will do as a STERIS Installation TechnicianUnder the general direction of experienced Installers, Specialists and theInstallation Project Manager, this role provides equipment installationsupport in accordance with plans and specifications. This includesperforming/assisting in delivery, assembly, utility connection,check-out, and final inspection of equipment. Documents required businessand regulatory data and related compliance requirements using multiplebusiness systems and apps.Essential Job Functions Assists Installers and Installation Specialist in creating a positiveCustomer experience during all phases of the installation process. Maintainscourteous and professional demeanor when working with Customers,contractors, management, and fellow employees, Prior to installation, verify rough-in dimensions and utilities areadequate to meet equipment specifications. Ensure doorways, elevators,and hallways are sufficient to allow equipment transport to installation site. Verify that equipment delivered to the customer matches the order,with timely communication re. variance and issues to leadership Performs/assists in installation of STERIS products, including,but not limited to: uncrating; assembling; setting or lifting productinto place; leveling; connecting utilities; and testing unit. Completes/supports teams in service documentation electronically,including Service Requests, Installation Start Up Checklists, Photos,Expense Reports Daily Installation Progress Reports and email communication. With appropriate supervision, tests unit with live utilities andinitiate a basic cycle to verify the integrity of the installation workperform Provides daily email updates to keep all parties informed and ensuretimely in-service, hand off to local technicians, and customer satisfaction. Ensures Customer satisfaction through post-installation activities toinclude disposal of all associated packing and shipping crate material,ensuring equipment is wiped down and fingerprints are removed, andaddressing any questions/issues before leaving the site. Utilize customer protocols re. entering/exiting facilities and abideby all STERIS and Customer Health and Safety protocols and procedures. Maintain tools, installation materials inventory (consumableproducts) in line with scheduled installation activity. Other duties as assigned.What Skills, Abilities and Education you will need to be successful atSTERIS: High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of two years of workexperience including demonstrated aptitude in construction, mechanical,electrical, technology or other related service industry (automotive,HVAC, other commercial use equipment). In lieu of two years experience,completion of technical/vocational training program with apprenticeshipexperience will be considered. Technical /Vocational school training preferred.
