Somos Senior Software Architect in Littleton, Colorado

The Senior Software Architect will provide leadership in architecture,design, implementation, and enhancement of Somos' core toll-freeplatform. Successful candidate would be a problem solver and has an appetitefor novel, new approaches for solution delivery. Role requires provenability to forge inter-vendor relationships, while exceeding customerexpectations by proactive identification of problem areas and developingtimely solutions in a telecommunication setting.As a Senior Software Architect, will be responsible for drivinginnovation, technology and product strategy, and architecture across atechnically diverse application portfolio.Great opportunity to work on a key initiative that has cross industry impactsin high visibility role.Extensive technical breadth in areas of application development technicalarchitecture, information management and deployment in a complexheterogeneous environment with expertise in telecommunication domain.Enforce architecture standards, patterns and best practices. Review andapprove designs.Participate in evaluating COTs solutions as well as help with "Build vs. Buyvs. Outsource" decisions.Help define and refine existing corporate architecture standards andguidelines. Participate in architecture group meetings and activities.Help indemnity and execute improvements and simplification opportunities withbusiness systems in a domain. Identify and promote re-use of common servicesand components.Proven ability to establish and build professional relationships withexecutives of the enterprise to gather and articulate the technical vision andproduce the strategic plan for realizing it through an architecture roadmap.Communicate compelling enterprise architecture vision and motivate others toshare the vision and rally support behind the vision.Ability to use broad industry knowledge to anticipate marketplace trends inapplication design accurately and to articulate credible, competitive,breakthrough strategies and plans.Excellent interpersonal, team management, facilitation and communicationsskills - must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of theorganization.Ability to facilitate discussion on controversial topics and manage groupdynamics to reach agreement on how to proceed, when necessary.Architect, design, and develop solutions with a small agile teamAuthentication and Authorization technologies (LDAP, Kerberos, ActiveDirectory) experience preferredAuthentication and Authorization protocols (e.g. OAuth 2.0, OpenIDConnect, SAML) experience preferred
