JW Affinity IT Software Developer in Littleton, Colorado
We are seeking a Software Developer to join our team! (Location: Anywhere in the USA --100% Remote position)
The position is part of a small, motivated team of architects, engineers, and developers who are focused on the design, development, and deployment of infrastructure, across both the Enterprise and Business Area ecosystems. As such, this position will require a technical expert in software design software development and software integration, and direct experience in software development of low-level foundational system code.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Establish and implement configuration management
processes that enable Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Incorporate Infrastructure Policy driven IaC and API-driven networking
Develop automated installation, build, and deployment processes for Software Defined Network Controllers and other service infrastructure devices using a software-defined approach
Designing effective networking IaC for cloud native containers
Enable and leverage the use of continuous integration tools
Enable interaction and coordination within 12 and Cloud Acceleration Office and other key stakeholders
Enable interaction and coordination with Business Areas
Ensure the successful resolution of cross-domain technical engineering issues, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Previous experience with Cisco infrastructure in a network design and/or operations role is highly desirable.
Basic Qualifications :
Demonstrated experience of Python, Ansible, Jinja2 and Unix Shell (bash, sh, csh)
Demonstrated experience of YAML and JSON
Knowledge of data networking including (LAN, WAN, Data Center)
Demonstrated experience in Windows and Linux
administration and virtualization
Demonstrated experience with Industry tools related to software architecture, engineering and process automation Demonstrated experience of the software lifecycle,
including requirements definition through system
deployment (end to end engineering)
Demonstrated experience in configuration management of software
Ability to balance technical requirements with business needs
Desired skills : Excellent interpersonal skills
Collaborative Team Focused
Familiarity with the Agile software development process
and supporting tools
Demonstrated experience of JavaScript
Demonstrated experience of Web frontend design and
Web frameworks
Demonstrated operational experience in Data, Voice,
and/or Video services
Understanding of the required maturity of systems
architecture artifacts at program technical reviews
Demonstrated experience of Cl/CD practices
Practical experience working with major private and public
cloud solutions
