Our Opportunity:

This is a mid-level position with the Desktop Support group of Charles Schwab & Co., and will focus on providing real-time support for technology problems and fulfillment services (move, add, or change requests) for our Schwab internal customers. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who enjoys a fast paced environment, has great customer service skills and a "can-do" spirit.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with a team of Desktop Support technicians in one of the largest service centers at Schwab with over 4,000 users.

  • System administration of Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Mac OS X desktops and laptops.

  • Provide hands on installation, troubleshooting and technology support for desktops, laptops, monitors and personal printers.

  • Also required to provide IP phone support and remote assistance as needed.

  • Deploy and reclaim computer equipment which includes maintaining asset management database with current status.

  • Document work in various tools. (Remedy, Clarity)

  • Identify opportunities to collaborate locally and across the enterprise to promote organizational goals and visions.

  • Provide excellent customer support to Schwab employees.

What you have:

  • The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in technology and/or a minimum 2-3 years’ recent experience supporting technology in an enterprise-wide internal Service Center environment.

  • A working knowledge of PC technical support of the Windows and Macintosh OS (Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Mac OS X) is desired.

  • Should demonstrate strong communication skills, including both written and verbal.
