The Model Risk Management team, part of the Corporate Risk Management organization, is hiring a software engineer to drive development and implementation of our .NET web application as we deploy to business partners across the company. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to bring innovation and best practices to our application to provide maximum value to the users. The development team includes one other senior developer and reports directly to the Managing Director of MRM Implementation.
What you’ll do:
Develop model risk management applications using C# and other object-oriented methodologies to show and visualize all models across the entire company, their status and performance, interdependencies and interconnectedness, workflow, and other related information
Develop SQL Server database with implementation of triggers and stored procedures
Develop methods for model owners and model validators to load model performance, sensitivity, input, output, archive, and other data, potentially using SSIS
Collaborate and work with other team members in an agile environment
Implement permissions and role-based security into both desktop and web interfaces of the application
Build and maintain robust technical documentation
Build and maintain unit tests and other testing objects to ensure maximum uptime and minimize errors
Work closely with model validators and model owners to define and implement requirements
What you have:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field
Required: Expert knowledge of C# programming language including object oriented concepts
Required: Expert knowledge of SQL Server or other relational database with knowledge of triggers and stored procedures
Required: Excellent communication and organizational skills
Required: Comfortability and ability to thrive in a high-paced, technologically-advanced environment
Preferred: Master’s degree in related field
Plus: Knowledge of financial modeling, model risk management, or other risk management area
