Project Manager

job summary:

  • Understand, gather, and prepare project requirement documents and translate functional requirements to technical requirements

  • Conduct UAT for project and issues as needed

  • Provide support in implementing new CSIM processes, as well as maintaining, and monitoring of monthly production tasks

  • Act as a liaison/coordinate with IT support groups/systems to ensure a successful monthly production process

  • Interpret/write complex SQL in an effort to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues

  • Effectively interact and deal with various issues raised by business partners and customer support groups within the organization

  • Document production processes, resolved issues, and answered requests

  • Participate in weekly/monthly meetings

  • Identify manual process deficiencies and institute automation techniques which streamline processes reducing workload


  • An experienced senior level Business Analyst comfortable working closely with both business and technology partners

  • A person with strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills

  • Able to translate business needs and requirements into technical/functional requirements with a proven track record of delivering those requirements into production environments

  • Recognized as a go-to person for solving technology issues and enhancing operational performance

  • Known as a creative problem solver and able to effectively analyze data, troubleshoot and discover root causes of any issue or problem

  • Comfortable in facilitating groups and influencing individuals across a range of tenures and working styles

  • Balanced between being an articulate advocate and objective critic, be highly organized and possess meticulous attention to detail while maintaining the bigger picture

  • Able to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new business functions

  • Preferred familiarity with banking/financial industry

  • Experience with Teradata (preferred), and/or Transact-SQL/ PL/SQL database querying and manipulating large data sets with strong SQL programming skills

  • Knowledgeable of technical environments and tools, including TOAD, Informatica, Tableau, ERWIN, and Business Objects

  • Experienced and have a solid understanding of Agile Scrum

  • Knowledgeable of MS Project, Excel, MS Word, Outlook and other MS Office applications

  • A university degree in Information management or Computer Science, and/or other professional certifications are a plus
