Our Opportunity:

The Sr. Manager of Third Party Risk Operations Program Management & Optimization is responsible for developing and maturing the Corporate Vendor Management (CVM) Supplier and Contract Oversight and Risk Evaluation (SCORE) Program. In order to meet regulatory guidance with scalability and efficiency, the programs and processes must evolve and mature. Key areas of focus will include Process Improvement, Automation, and Tool Enhancement.

CVM follows the three lines of defense model for risk governance. This role is a first line of defense position and assures compliance with all Corporate policies and procedures, as well as all applicable regulations in the context of their responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Process Improvement

  • Lead projects to streamline third party risk assessment, monitoring and offboarding activities

  • Establish process and cadence to review and perform gap analysis of quality of third party risk assessments, ongoing monitoring and oversight

  • Enhance program dashboards, scorecards and functional metrics associated with reporting SCORE program performance to senior management

  • Mature and enhance the identification of program maturity needs and implementation plans

  • Lead initiatives to design and implement robust risk assessment, monitoring and oversight methodologies

  • Facilitate cross-functional risk operations calibration sessions to ensure alignment and consistency

  • Facilitate team performance improvement initiatives

  • Automation

  • Develop workflow management tools to streamline risk operations procedures providing transparency and reporting capabilities

  • Examine processes, seeking ways to automate manual methods or enhance existing processes for efficiency

  • Develop and manage efforts to convert manual spreadsheets into available tools and repositories to allow for reporting automation and enhancements

  • Tool Enhancement

  • Explore and oversee enhancements needed to the third party management tools

  • Facilitate updates to current risk assessment tools based on changes made to processes and methodologies

  • Connect the activities performed by third parties to the contracts in the existing tools and develop relevant reporting

  • Implement and manage tools to automate processes, reporting, and work queue management

  • Program Documentation

  • Create and update workflow designs of processes supporting the lifecycle

What you have:

  • Experience in financial services (may include sales, service, operations, process, project, and management experience)

  • 5+ years of experience in Process Improvement (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Master preferred)

  • 3+ years of Business and System Analysis

  • Organizational Change Management experience

  • 3+ years of data governance / architecture experience (preferred)

  • 3+ years of SharePoint 2010 and O365 development experience (fluent in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery – this is NOT a developer job reporting into IT but you may interface with IT staff quite frequently)

  • Experience in business process automation

  • Methodology development experience

  • 2+ years in developing KPI / KRI / KSI type data capture and reporting systems

  • Some familiarity with Tableau, WorkFront, WorkDay, Ariba, Archer, and Hiperos desired

  • Third-party Lifecycle Management experience preferred

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to research problems, determine root causes and solutions

  • Experience in developing and delivering executive level PowerPoint reporting

  • Ability to translate business needs into business requirements, and then implement

  • Bachelors Degree required; advanced degree preferred
