Our Opportunity:

The Client Reporting and Paperless team is part of the Digital Cross Enterprise Platforms organization. The team is responsible for reporting product platforms such as brokerage and bank statements, statement inserts, trade confirmations, communications, gain/loss reports, year-end tax documents, cost basis reporting and paperless (eDelivery). These products/platforms serve as critical touch points for our clients, provide information regarding their portfolios and account transactions, and provide a great opportunity to directly impact the client experience, satisfaction, and loyalty, while supporting the strategic growth of the firm. The team supports all of Schwab’s business enterprises and works with a wide range of internal stakeholders.

The Sr. Product Strategy & Design - Statements is a key member of the Client Reporting and Paperless team. They will be responsible for creating and executing the strategy for Schwab’s statement platforms and creating quality and consistent digital experience across client reporting platforms.

What you’ll do:

The Senior Product Manager will:

  • Own the product experience from A-Z including vision, strategy, roadmap creation, and value delivery for clients. Champion the statements vision throughout the organization

  • Identify ways to enhance the product, primarily focusing on opportunites improve digital experiences

  • Perform detailed analyses that provide insight into the customer experience, preferences, behaviors, and competitive market factors

  • Field competing requests from across many stakeholders and prioritize enhancements to maximize client value.

  • Provide ongoing leadership and support to cross-functional teams developing new capabilities for the statement platforms. Utilize design thinking best practices to enhance clarity and readability of statements.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance of products with the help of Legal and Compliance, and facilitate the official approval process on material changes to statements

  • Develop business cases and vet new opportunities

  • Represent Schwab in industry peer groups

  • Create and deliver presentations to management to aid in decision-making and funding requests

  • Aquire and prioritize client feedback

  • Stay current with industry best practices and market opportunities

  • Translate client needs / competitive pressure into product vision and define detailed requirements for consumption by technology teams

  • Participate in user acceptance testing

  • Serve as subject matter expert for statements to perform research and address escalations / questions from service teams and clients

  • Create and maintain product collateral, internal communication/training, and marketing materials

What you have:

  • You should have at least 5-10 years experience in at least two of the following: Product Management / Platform Management, Financial Services Industry, and Client Reporting / Client Communications in regulated industry

  • Demonstrated success with defining and launching digital products in complex corporate environment

  • Experience being self-directed with a strong desire to continually improve all facets of the product and client xperience

  • Experience working with and analyzing complex data sets to make data-driven decisions and recommendations

  • Experience delivering simple, but compelling presentations on complex topics

  • Experience in Agile development practices, ideally Product Owner responsibilities

  • Initiative to continuously identify client experience and operating leverage improvements, and create sound business proposals

  • Passion for innovation, backed by demonstrated ability to execute and deliver

  • Experience with and ability to lead people and projects through influence

  • Strong interpersonal skills, emotional maturity and sound decision making capabilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication, being able to transform complex topics into well-organized, understandable communications to different audiences, including Leadership

  • Ability to cultivate relationships with a variety of internal consumer platforms and external partners

  • Expert usage of Excel,Word, PowerPoint and Visio

  • Bachelors degree, MBA a plus

  • FINRA Series 7 or 99 a plus
