As an all-in-one ERP, CRM, HCM System, and Accounting System, NetSuite has vast quantities of data relevant to several applications across our organization: Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Customer Implementation and Maintenance, Human Capital- everything. The goal of the Sales Planning & Analysis team is to turn that vast, structured data into actionable insights. As such, we’ve developed a team of cross-functional subject matter experts to act as trusted advisors to our sales leaders. This manifests in diving deep into data, thinking strategically, and communicating effectively to collaboratively make changes and start new paths, as well as delivering recurring reporting so our managers know how well they are sticking to those plans. This helps our business grow and puts our management in the driver’s seat; being able to intelligently make decisions and understand their effects quickly and accurately.
The SP&A Internship
The goal of the Sales Planning & Analysis Intern is to support in various parts of the team’s process. This means owning recurring reports, and to think creatively to streamline, improve and automate those reports. It will also provide the opportunity to find trends and potential opportunities in that data to take action or deliver more insights; as a flat organization, every employee has the potential to make company-wide impacts. The SP&A intern will report to the Manager of Sales, Planning and Analysis
Own recurring reports and ad-hoc projects. Get your hands dirty on reports that require attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in areas like Sales Rep Performance Reporting
Strive to automate reports
Have the opportunity to provide insights and thought leadership to key business stakeholders in areas like Market Driven Territory Planning
Deliver presentations to various levels of stakeholders; turning data into actionable insights and visualizations
Basic statistics understanding
Authorization to work in the United States
Interest in pursuing a career in strategy, operations, analytics, or data science
Demonstrated leadership and people skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with SQL, Domo, or NetSuite
