Seagate US LLC Business Process Management Summer Intern in Longmont, Colorado

About our group:Seagate's Business Process Management (BPM) team works to continuouslyimprove efficiency and productivity worldwide to maintain competitiveadvantage. The BPM Intern will help achieve these goals through processimprovement projects. The team is seeking a highly motivated, entry-levelcontributor who is working toward earning a degree in subjects such asIndustrial Engineering, Organizational Development, Communications orBusiness Administration; however, all majors will be considered.About the role - you will:The position will work collaboratively as part of Seagate's BPM team. Thesuccessful candidate will also be a self-starter who can work independently toassess data, present recommendations, develop a work plan, and executedeliverables. Knowledge of process improvement, project management,strategic communications, and organizational change is desired.You will assist with the following responsibilities:Execute a process improvement related project that contributes to aprogram's successCraft concise, business-relevant communication / presentations to bedelivered to worldwide colleaguesParticipate in team initiatives to improve operational efficiency; assistthe project team with a focus on organization: review and trackdeliverables, analysis and reportingConduct research within the industry and present findingsGenerate and analyze data, and provide analytical insight into business casesAbout you:Demonstrated strong skillsets with the following:Communication skills (listening and clarifying, plus written and verbalskills)Strong commitment to excellence as well as personal and professional growthCollaborating and contributing to a teamListening and acting on feedbackInterest in learning dynamics of large organizationsYour experience includes:Pursuing Bachelor's degree: All majors are considered. Must be enrolled asa Junior/Senior for Spring 2020 and enrolled in fall 2021 courses.MS Office, Excel skills, PowerPoint design, and live presentation skillsSynthesizing quantitative and qualitative dataForming productive business relationships with diverse peopleDelivering successful projects in a cross-functional settingLocation:Our Longmont product-design campus is nestled against the foothills withexceptional views of the Rocky Mountains.
