Candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the enterprise SCOM and IBM TPC platforms. They will perform administrative tasks from the Operation Manager console, provide application support for the SCOM and TPC platform and create and maintain monitoring and notification rules. They will be responsible for collaborating with Windows systems engineers, Storage Administrators, internal and external support teams, to determine requirements for filters, events, alerts, and dashboards and reporting in various monitoring tools. They will review and update SCOM/TPC console security, apply patches, create SCOM console roles and reviews, and create and install custom Management Packs (MP) as needed. They will deliver SCOM/TPC views, create custom reports on results of SCOM monitoring, and provide problem resolution for SCOM/TPC components and related custom scripts. They will utilize verbal and written communication skills to maintain accurate system documentation and provide project management support as required.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Associate Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Equivalent work experience considered

  • 10 years’ experience as a Systems Administrator, Systems Programmers or Systems Analyst.

  • Experience managing MS System Center Operations Manager (MS SCOM) environments.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Visio.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Skilled at performance analysis and root cause analysis for system wide issues.

  • Healthcare experience a plus
