These technologies will lead to innovative storagesolutions that will position Seagate for continued market leadership.In this role, the Software Development Engineer will be responsible for:Designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging embedded systemssoftware solutions.Developing custom tools to aid in embedded systems application development.Documenting application solutions for internal and external use.Identifying hardware requirements to optimize overall system performance.About You:Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in engineering, computer science,or applied sciences.Proficient at programming in C++, Python, and Linux kernel.Excellent communications skills.Team oriented individual, eager to learn and work with experienced mentors.Knowledge of disc drives.Knowledge of databases: LevelDB, MySQL, Kyoto Cabinet (for example).Knowledge of networks and data storage systems.About our Location:Walk into work every day with an exceptional view of the Rocky Mountains.
