190079 Firmware System Integration Test Engineer - Staff level (Open)Job Title: Firmware System Integration Test Engineer - Staff levelAbout The Role - You WillAs a Staff level Systems Integration Firmware Test Engineer (SIE) you willbe responsible for the validation of embedded storage device firmware. Youwill work closely with the embedded firmware development team in maturing,releasing and maintaining product firmware. To accomplish these goals, youwill be utilizing a highly developed lab environment that provides automationtools as well as other tools that aid in-depth analysis.Some of your key responsibilities will be:Implement and execute test plans for productsUnderstand the products' unique design elementsProvide thorough failure analysis to product firmware teamImprove time to failure rates to speed up debug processWork closely with test development team for direction and updates of testscripts and toolsReport to Product Core Teams regarding testing resultsWork closely with Core Teams to manage product resources and timelinesWork with customer teams to understand and test the matrix of differentproduct linesBe a central resource between the development and business organizationsAbout Our GroupWe work in a challenging engineering environment, and support Disc Drivefirmware testing for product development. Our team supports testing ofEnterprise drives for both SAS & SATA protocols.
