We help makeconnections for millions of customers.Job Summary: This position reports into the CIO and provides strategic andbusiness leadership through the build of a global corporate technology andprocess transformation organization. The goal of the candidate will be tocreate a consolidated, cost efficient global corporate servicesorganization, including technology assets that support Finance, HumanResources, Sales, Operations, Billing and technology. Specifically,the transformation will include improving business performance and drivingresults by providing greater transparency, consolidation and access tofinancial information, lowering costs and creating greater efficiency,standardization and improved governance.QualificationsWhat you'll bring to West:*15 years of technology leadership as a leader of Corporate technology assetsor CTO, preferably with experience in the financial services, professionalservices, and insurance industries OR from a large-scale, global andcomplex technology or services oriented organization that maintains aregulatory framework*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalentwork experience; Masters/ Advanced degree in the same discipline is preferred*Deep, 'hands-on' understanding of technical design that will engendercredibility with the technology community across West*End to end agile delivery experience all layers of a technology stack*Able to discuss technology in terms of the business and with key businessleaders, in order to effectively communicate with those who are not technical*Effective leadership & communication skills to drive and implement majorre-engineering efforts*Possess infectious enthusiasm for the possibilities that can be unlockedthrough technology advancement, balanced by a distinguished ability to execute*Strong emotional intelligence to enable effective influencing andcommunication skills across an enterprise; strong interpersonal andnegotiation skills are key*Experience with software development life cycles and technical designprinciples*Experience managing in a complex, global matrixed, and regulatedenvironment(s)*Ability to foster organization change through multiple channels*Exceptional written and oral communication skills as well as a strongcapability for teamwork/collaboration across organizations*Big Data technologies (storage and analytics)*Track record of enterprise cloud deployment and Cloud-native applicationdesign & delivery*Large process oriented re-architecture projectsAt West, we are dedicated to delivering and improving upon new channels,new capabilities and new choices for how businesses and consumerscollaborate, connect and transact.
